Worlds Apart

Worlds Apart is a story heavy visual novel adventure game. You play as Maia, the daughter of Marcus Callaghan, who is the CEO of Callaghan Industries. The story takes place in the distant future, where climate change is wreaking havoc on the planet and leaving it near uninhabitable. In response, Callaghan Industries is pioneering a multiverse travel and colonization program. The local inhabitants of one of the verses they're attempting to colonize, Abvortius, are not happy with this though and they're gearing up to declare war on Earth. In order to stop both her father's company and the war, Maia teams up with an Abvortian named Emet. Will they be successful? Only you can decide. 

The game will be released in multiple chapter increments starting with Chapter I on May 10th, 2021- in conjuncture with Maine College of Art's 2021 Senior Thesis Exhibition.
